![]() What we doENCO Foundation is a different kind of philanthropy. This is because our core focus and unique mandate is to build the capacity of the local community to become self-reliant and to be able to meet the needs of the community through local innovation and resource management. This mandate is what informs our programs which target to benefit women, youth and children in Africa. Harnessed by innovation, we seek to depart from the usual hand-me-down philanthropy into a more roburst self-empowering approach. We do this through social investments. This include: a skills exchange center for volunteers, lobbying for policies that are empowering local communities, fundraising for community projects with a bias on seed capital and expansion financing, managing funds, poverty alleviation, health and education, managing special-care-networks for orphans and vulnerable children, capacity building for project management and leadership, and youth Mentorship.
