Health & Education
The Health and Education program is about mitigating pandemics such as HIV/Aids, Malaria and Tuberculosis; and providing preventive education for holistics care. ENCO Foundation has made significant social investment strategies that rely heavily on a collaborative approach with like-minded organizations that share our values & objectives.
To fully actualize the vision of this program we aim to develop and promote active partnerships with other companies and institutions, with NGOs, church and community groupings and healthcare professionals to achieve sustainable progress.
The Malaria, HIV/Aids and Tuberculosis pandemics has had a dramatic impact on the fabric of African society, but it is inter-linked with other social problems that place severe strain on the social welfare infrastructure. Addressing issues such as crime, poverty, homelessness and unemployment, the abuse of women and children, nutrition intervention, statutory services and welfare care for the old aged are all important factors in holistic, healthy and self-reliant community.
Our strategic approach in this program component include:
Specifically Malaria, HIV/Aids, Tuberculosis, Substance Abuse, Alcoholism, Violence against Women & Children: this is in addition to pre, post and antenatal care, primary healthcare and nutrition
Incudes Tertiary Education and Scholarships, Skills training and leadership development, Adult education and life-skills, developing infrastructures and facilities
These are unique programs designed to improve the socio-economic welfare of women.
Our approach is to incubate the youth through mentorship and skills sharing.
We have a compassionate network trained to provide special care to orphans and vulnerable children.
